Registration Day 2017 – Information Overview

Welcome to the Taree Tigers 2017 Hockey Season

To all players, parents and supporters I would like to welcome you to Taree Tigers Hockey Club.

Our goal in junior hockey is to encourage and active positive sporting participation and develop skills that will not only improve your hockey but will also support the development of all the junior players in our club. Taree Tigers Hockey Club is a family club and we welcome the participation of everyone in the family and invite you all to be involved in all aspects of the club both on and off the field.

Our focus is clearly on active and positive participation and we work hard to provide an environment for all players to achieve the goals they set for themselves. As a club we believe that sport is a great opportunity to develop many attributes that can be positively used in all aspects of our lives.

We have several social functions throughout the year and welcome all our members and their families to attend any club functions. We have our own Facebook page – Taree Tigers Hockey Club.

We ask that all members provide a clear email address on your registration form as we believe communication is one of the most important aspects of any successful club and email and Facebook will be used as our main communication tools.

We welcome the thoughts, questions, suggestions and feedback from players and parents at any time via our club meetings or you can email or phone one of the club’s board members at anytime. It is vitally important that issues are raised with us early to ensure an appropriate and early response.

Great Initiative for all players – Introduce a new playing member in 2017 and you save $$$$

As part of our goal to increase player numbers in Taree Tigers Hockey Club in both juniors and seniors in 2017, we are encouraging our current players to introduce new players to the club and you will receive reimbursements off your own registration fees for every player you introduce in 2017.

The process is simple when you introduce a new player (means a players who has not previously been registered with Taree Tigers Hockey Club) then you will receive the following reductions off your registration fees for 2017 for each player you introduce:

  • Senior Competition player: $25.00
  • Junior Competition player: $15.00
  • Junior non Competition player: $10.00

There will be a place on the 2017 registration form where the new players can advise who introduced them to the club.

So I encourage everyone to ask around at School, at work or in your local area and introduce some new players to our great club in 2017.
